* How to reach the Base Camp:

Youth Hostel Badrinath is well connected by road from Haridwar (Distance 330km). Haridwar is well connected by buses and roads from most of the cities of the country. The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport Dehradun (47 km from Haridwar). Direct buses, taxis are available from the airport.

* Daywise Schedule:

#Day 1 : Reporting at Basecamp badrinath

#Day2: Training & Acclimitization

#Day3: Trek from Badrinath to Laxmiyan (12 km)

#Day 4: Trek to Laxmiyan to Chakratirth( 12 km)

#Day5: Trek to Chakratirth to Satopanth and back to Chakratirth 

# Day6: Trek to Chakratirth to Laxmivan :12 km

#Day 7:Trek to Laxmivan to Badrinath (12 km) and Certificate Distribution and recreation activity

#Day 8: Checkout in the morning.

 

*Who can participate:

Participation in this programme is open to all youth hostellers between age of 18-50years. The condition will be adhered strictly.

* How to Participate:

Online Booking: Members desirous of joining this programme may apply online by paying requisite program fee along with online booking amount i.e. Rs 8190/- (Rs.7800/- Program Fee + Rs390/- Online Booking Amount).

We accept Net Banking, Debit Card and Credit Card payment on www.yhaindia.org for online payments.

After successful transaction Admit Card will be generated. Participant has to carry "Admit Card", "Trekking Medical Certificate" & "Membership Card"(Print out of membership card may also be accepted) at the time of reporting to the Base Camp.

Rs.7800/- per participant (YHAI Membership Compulsory). Interested particpants can deposit their fee by cash.cheque/NEFT/RTGS (net banking) in any of the branch of the bank mentioned below:

Attach the original deposited receipt with your registration form & Medical Certificate and send it to our state Branch, payable at kanpur.
 
After receiving the same your participation will be confirmed. The particiaption fees includes built accommodation, simple nutritious vegetarian meals, expert guidance, equipment and insurance. Particpants will bear to and fro travel expenses from their home to the base camp.
 

* Cancellation Policy: In case you are unable to join this trek, you will get a refund of 50% of your booking Rs. 3900/- (except online charges) provided when your request is received through online link (CLICK HERE) & offline booking should be come through the post directly at the UP State Bracnh YHAI, on or before 26 April, 2018. After this date no refund application will be considered.

Please attach the copy of your Admit card in your cancellation request.

Seat once booked may not be re-scheduled or transferred.

There is no refund applicable for the all the program bookings done after 26 April, 2018.

Any unforeseen event / unfit medical Condition/strike or natural calamity will not be considered as a cause of cancellation.

Note- Refund will be processed post completion of the program within 30 to 45 working days.

 Food & Supplies: Simple, nutritious vegetarian meals.

* Accommodation Facilities: covered shared accomodation at basecamp at Youth Hostel Badrinath and tented accomodation at other camp.

* Safety & Security: Extensive and painstaking preparations have gone into the planning of trekking routed for your safety. Our field staff and experienced camp leaders have been visiting the area to check all details. While every care has been taken to ensure safety, the Youth Hostels Association of India cannot be held responsible for any accident, illness and such other unforeseen eventualities.

* What participants should bring along: Rucksack (if You have one), Woolens, Cotton Shirts, Slacks, Cotton Pants, Sun Cap, Shoes, Socks, Enameled or Steel Mug / tumbler, Plate, Lunch box ,Spoon, Water purifying tablets, Pen knife, Needle, Thread, Spare buttons, Goggles, Cold cream / Vaseline, Soap, Toilet Paper, Towel, Rain sheet/Rail coat,  Medicines which you normally use at home, Camera with extra batteries.

* Notice to Participants: YHAI membership card or Receipt of payment for membership fees and Admit card, original Medical Certificate & two Passport size photographs is must to enter into the Base Camp. Without these documents participating members will not be allowed at Base Camp.
