BREIF DESCRIPTION OF THE PROGRAM:

Youth Hostels Association of India, Tripura State Branch is organizing a 6 days Explore /Experience the Exotic land & Culture of Nagaland  & Assam ( Special programme on Hornbill festival &  Kaziranga National Park)from 1 December to 10 December,2020.

This is a good opportunity to see the scenic beauty as well as experience the splendid Nagaland with Hornbill festival and vibrant Assam in Kaziranga National Park.

DAY WISE SCHEDULE:

Day 1   : Reporting at Dimapur, Nagaland State after 10 am. Same day transfer to Kohima, the capital city of Nagaland.

Day 2   : visit to Hornbill festival, Kisama Village and local market.

Day 3   : visit to dzukou Valley & Tribal Village

Day 4   : Transfer to Kaziranga Nation al Park

Day5    : Kaziranga & Maa Khamakya Darshan

Day 6   :Disperse after Breakfast

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

Participation in the programme is open to all educational Institution, individuals and recognized units of YHAI. Participants have to bear all travel expenses from their place to Dimapur, Nagaland  State and back.

HOW TO REACH THE BASE CAMP:

Dimapur, Nagaland is well connected by air, rail and road. It will take around  3 hours to reach Kohima from Dimapur and another 30 minutes from there to reach heritage village Kisama.

HOW TO JOIN:

Persons /Members desirous of joining this programme may apply on a prescribed Registration Form available from National Office Website (www.yhaindia.org downloads .Payment can be deposited in our Bank account through Net Banking NEFT/RTGS (DD is not accepted).

CANCELLATION RULES:

In case you are unable to join the programme or wish to cancel, 50% programme fee will be refunded  subject to intimation to us in 7 days ahead  of the reporting date. Refund will be given as after completion of the programme. Any unforeseen incident/strike or natural calamity will not be considered as a case of cancellation.

SAFETY & SECURITY:

Participants shall not hold any of YHAI Organizer responsible wholly or partially for any injury, accidents, illness and such other unforeseen eventualities during Programme.

 

 

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

The Central Government employees can avail special casual leave as the Trekking Expedition organized by YHAI have the approval of Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, (Dept. of Personnel and Training), Government of India, vide office order No. 28016/89-Estt (A), dated 25th October, 1989.

Participants who successfully completed the expedition and abide by the discipline of the programme will be awarded Certificate.
