About Program :

Ali Bugyal - Bedni Bugyal is one of the most beautiful mountain pastures located in Uttarakhand, on the border between Garhwal and Kumaon, in the district of Chamoli. The trek to Bedni Bugyal and Ali Bugyal passes through a green and grassy land, a coniferous forest hanging on the slopes of the hills and steep climbs.

Bugyal means that high altitude meadows offer the most scenic and lush environments along the Bedni Bugyal treks. In addition to this, Lake Vaitarni (also called Bedni Kund) can also be seen in this area known for the rare flower of Brahma Kamal, and is also a major stopover during the ritual procession Nanda Devi Raj Jaat Yatra held every 12 years.

Trisul is a group of three Himalayan mountain peaks of western Kumaun, Uttarakhand, with the highest (Trisul I) reaching 7120m. The three peaks resemble a trident - in SanskritTrishula, trident, is the weapon of Shiva. The Trishul group forms the southwest corner of the ring of peaks enclosing the Nanda Devi Sanctuary,

Around March, the residual snow from the winters melts and clears up during this season, even though it sometimes snows in April. The mountain views remain clear, and on your way across the Bugyals, you encounter the fresh and blooming Rhododendrons in the forest

Bugyal meadows have an elevation of around 11,686 feet from the ground. This alpine meadow lies along the Northern edge of Almora, Gwaldam, and Kausani hill stations. The Mt. Trishul standing tall and firm against the clear blue skies makes a picture-perfect backdrop.

The best part of this scenic vista is the great panoramic views the surrounding valleys and mountains offer. A bundle of surprises, the experience of wandering through the dense forests of this trek merely is astounding. When you make your way through the lush green shades of forest cover; you come across vast open lands- stretches of sprawling green carpets.
