To make up for the open first day, we have thrown together a bunch of places for the second day. These places are the famous sights of Mt. Abu. Your trip to Mt. Abu will not be complete without a visit to these places. We head to Guru Shikhar, the highest point of the Aravalli range. Almost 15 kms from Mt. Abu, we stop for a full view of the place. Achalgarh Mahadev Temple is worth a visit for its architecture and the peace of visiting this temple. It is a Shiva temple situated just outside the Achalgarh Fort.

Mt. Abu is famous for the Dilwara Jain temples, which are a group of five marble Jain temples with beautiful architecture and rich history. We have included these temples in the itinerary for you to savour the rich history. The temple interiors, ceiling, doorways, pillars have intricate design with ornamental detailing, which clearly showcase the workmanship of the artisans of those times. The delicate marble carvings will take your breath away. They are situated in the middle of a range of forested hills.

Nakki lake with its refreshing ambience is a major tourist attraction. From the back side of Nakki lake, you can witness the Sunset point, which is a serene place to catch the scenic view of sunset. The Adher Devi temple is a cliff-top temple made out of a large rock. There is a shrine inside a cave. It is accessed by 365 steep stairs. Also known as Arbuda Devi temple, Navratri is celebrated here with all fervour. The Brahma Kumari ashram at Mt. Abu is the headquarters of this spiritual movement. Well-maintained, airy and clean, it gives one peace of mind and relaxation.

After this sight-seeing, we return to our accommodation. The next day is planned for a visit to the Crocodile Park and Wildlife Sanctuary. This is a nice spot to enjoy nature and a perfect end of our weekend adventure.
